I’m trying to establish a connection with my friend’s laptop over internet, I’m able to connect his modem (router) but I cannot connect to his laptop to copy files. So guys please guide me.

how are you trying to do this? is this for data transfer?

I second Logmein... free version u wont be able to achieve what u want, paid version u will get everything... u can copy files from my desktop in Nigeria to lets say ur laptop @ Vancouver
