NIC problem

well after investigating and looking for last drivers, it did not work Actually i just using a cross over cable to connect just two PCs win2k prof and w2k3 just for testing GPOs and the cable is 1,5 m long, I guess it's a hardware problem .

Yes this is a funny one. I agree it could be hardware related as I've only seen it on one particular PC/OS/Card installation when other "identical" machines worked perfectly. It's as if the OS somehow doesn't figure out that the link is actually up so it closes the card down again
