crtl + alt + del

crtl + alt + del was created by tea_clipper
My computer runs windows XP and after freshly installing it,, a few days i try to access the Task Manager but instead prompting me with (The Administrator disabled it). But i am logged on as a administrator how can i enable it..

I would first run some Anti-Virus/Anti-Spyware products to ensure that nothing has got onto it. There's some malware that causes this issue.

Also, is this part of a domain environment ? If so is any group policy set to disable this ?

this computer is on network of three.....with the same Operating systems windows XP and i just use the sharing thing with no IP address typed on it........

Group policies won't apply in a Peer-to-Peer environment. Its more then likely some malware thats caused this.

If you download some Anti-Spyware software and run some checks on your machine to see if something comes up.

Also, can you run Regedit ? Usually this functionality goes also.

i cant run regedit at all... can't run the command prompt too.... thank you ....by the way how can i be able to avoid such problems then , and most of this computers are connected to the internet...

I would suggest,

Good Anti-Virus updated regular (if your AV does a kind of on-access scanning, it is best to have it set to on write also which will stop this sort of stuff being written to the hard drive).
Regular scans with AntiSpyware tools
I also quite like SpywareBlaster which can help to stop the infections being hitting your machine in the first place.

I did a thread about AntiSpyware products that i read in a magazine which has some suggestions of products.
