Hey Steve, been a while since i posted but i was curious how the above job went. Did you get that server sorted out?
No, I produced a comprehensive Business Case which I gave them verbally as well as orally. Funds just aren't available and one of the senior bods is, like me, in favour of Windows rather than Linux. The network limps along but I'm sure that it will fall over at some stage then I guess there'll be a mad scramble to migrate everything to a Domain-based network, including education of users.
