As far as installating is concern, we have finished.
Now, I think we should start discussing about, Hardware requirements and costs involved:
1.- The market: an example could be www.firewall.cx .
This excellent website handles 30.000+ viewers per day.
2.- If we are expecting to handle 33.33% of that amount of viewers, what type of Server (Hardware) do we need?; mainly, Hard Disk, RAM, Ethernet Card, etc.
3.- Characteristics of the ADSL connection. (10G?)
4.- Management!.
a.- 10.000 viewers in a day means 7 viewers per minute.
b.- Average time spent by a viewer?
c.- Of course, there are pick periods!
d.- What is the typical ADSL connection for viewers: 256k, 512k, 1G?
e.- Pissible bottlenecks? (Ethernet Card, Router, Switch?)
f.- How about cost?
