Windows 98 reports "an extended Error has occurred

Hi everyone,

I'm facing an issue pertaining windows 98 Network Access and following is the error details.

Scenario:

In our environment we have a File server running in Windows 2000 server. The clients are windows 2000 pro, XP Pro and Win98.

The issue: Network access from any of the Win2k pro/ XP pro has no problem but whenever access from Windows 98 its giving error as follows "An Exteneded Error Has Occurred". This issue only happens intermittendly and everytime it happens, the windows 2000 server has to be rebooted to resolve the issue (Temporary Solution).

Any ideas or solutions with regards to this issue is welcomed and your help and support is much respected.

It appears it may be an issue with the security templet on the 2K box, but go here and muttle through these links.
