1gbps between 2 Windows Servers

you need to update you network drivers on both sides if possible, no need to upgrade cable

To my experience to attain 1GB Speed you should change both network card 1GB speed and change the cables to CAT6.

First test with connecting two computers by changing both network card and cables, you will surely find difference.
