Share permissions

Hi Friends,

I am facing the problem with Sharing in Windows xp system the problem is more than 7 people can,t access the shared folder. I add the 15 Users and i give full control to the users but only 7 people can access the remaining users can't, Please give me any other solutions.

Are they trying to access the share at the same time? If so, then it's working as designed (the theoretical limit is a maximum of 10 users can simultaneously access a share on Windows XP).

Did you configure all of their computers the same to be able to access the share or did they configure it themselves? I'm assuming you are all in a small LAN, right? Check to see if there are any firewalls in place that could prevent access to the share. Also verify that the correct Windows sharing "components" are installed on Network Configuration in Control Panel (forgot the name of the components).
