Having some trouble with Wireless and my D-Link Router;

Hi there, today I received my laptop and I wanted to try out wireless connectivity..however, the laptop found the access point that was coming out of my router and I tried connecting to it. But there is a problem, it seems the router does not want to give the wireless laptop an IP and something is wrong with DHCP and wireless. I can't get it to work, I've tried specifiying an IP on the router and on the laptop, and it still will not access the net.

I'm using the following router:

D-Link 524 (AirPlus G)
802.11g/2.4GHZ Wireless

This router supports wireless and 5 RJ-45 cables.

All fixed, I found out that the built in Norton Anti Virus/Security app blocks wireless connectivity so I had to remove it and fix the firewall settings. God, dell is stupid :|

Well,

Nortron is giving lot of problem these day. I hope Norton is aware of this, but the good news is the Issue got resolved. :D
