Wireless lans, along with another 5 million topics are on the list. Hopefully we will get to them sometime soon. Until then, Tom and google will prove to be your best friends !

Google or Gagle (or is that geese - I can never remember).

If we don't get to it in time, and you want a pretty good primer and have a good bookstore with a Cafe attached, you might check out some of the WI-FI books in the Networking section.

Depending on how deep you want to go you can look at the these books:

Building a network using Linksys devices - Linksys Network The official guide. This is obviously a book about Linksys's stuff, but it has a good section on Wi-Fi.

Wi-Fi Handbook -Building 802.11b Wireless Networks by Frank Ohrtman.

Wi-Fi for the Enterprise Maximizing 802.11 for Business by Nathan J. Muller.

There are a couple of others that are easy to follow and who can complain about kicking back in a Bookstore Cafe downing a few (many) Lattes while reading about networking. Now that's the life.

Thanks,

Tom
