WHAT IS THE DIFF BETWEEN " OPEN IPS " AND " PROXY IPS "

Well, commonly "IP(s)" is used instead of "IP address(es)", "OPEN" is used as in "Accessible" and "PROXY" is used to describe a machine that relays data for other machines of the network.

I'ts hard to give a more specific answer without knowing the context in which these terms are used. Please provide some more information

An IPS is an Intrusion Prevension System. Now about the Open and Proxy bit I don't know what the difference is...

This is a perfect example of why one should not post in all caps...
or use abbreviations when the abbreiviation could have different meanings depending on the topic at hand


are we talking about IPs (IP addresses) or IPS (Intrusion Prevention) systems?
