In general STP will be enabled by default on a Cisco switch so you shouldn't need to do anything unless you want to modify the default behaviour. Things you might want to do are changing the STP parameters such as bridge priority or turning STP off for certain ports. You might also want to look at the portfast option as this shortens the time it takes for a port to come up
