some ip address are giving reply when we ping but we are not

we are using static ip address in our network. some ip address are giving reply when we ping but we are not using those ip addresses right now. what could be the problem and solution as well.

This case is very very rare, However if you are pinging from router or switch try to apply this command clear arp cache.

No pinging from pc. can a switch reply if its arp has an entry for thet ip but no system is connected with that ip.

Is it real world scenario or Cisco packet tracer ?

I would like to ask onething have you tried clearing arp cache, if it is real world then try that cache and come up with the result, let's look another step to troubleshoot if above doesn't work.
