RHCE is a Red Hat Certified Engineer. Basically, it shows you are a competent UNIX/Linux Network Admin with a Red Hat slant. It is a pretty lucrative cert. But then again, any UNIX/Linux cert or admin experience is helpful in today's market.

hi dude..
well i also was in the same dilemna..
i graduated first then i completed my MCSA and MCSE / CCNA..
as far as the job market is concerned it depends on the company policy. Some companies require that their employees are both undergraduates and certified.
but to be frank just an undergraduation leads to nowhere..
A professional certification like MCSE will surely fetch big $$$$.
i would advise you to complete your graduation and get certified later. You will be on the safe side.

Thanks for all the info guys.. Like I said this was for a friend.. I'm graduated.. 2 years now and I am working on my MCSE as we speak.. But my friend didn't go to school and is working on his MCSE anyway...

I was just curious as to what employers will think of that..

Thanks again..
