Payeh, what version of packet tracer are you using? I have some old versions too, so i can save the file with it.

oops, forgot to tell you that network 192.168.2.0/29 is not advertised on OSPF in C1. So you need also this command:

network 192.168.2.0 0.0.0.7 area 1

Here is the fixed file, this time I saved it using version 5.3

nnbnbOk noted that, I just downloaded the latest version yersterday :)

Lets say I want to modified my OSPF redundancy design:

- using point to point interface connection between core and distribution switch
- C1(192.168.1.1)
D1(192.168.1.2)
- C1(192.168.1.5)
D2(192.168.5.6)
- C2(192.168.1.9)
D1(192.168.1.10)
- C2(192.168.1.13)----D2(192.168.1.14)
*All subnet mask is /30

- Design : Core---Distribution---Access Switch---PC

I cannot communicate between PC1(vlan 10) and PC2(vlan 20), it took me 2 days but still didnt make it working :P

OSPF IP ranges and wild cards need fixing. Here is the fixed file:

www.mediafire.com/?kvmzzgwc1cncds1

I'm too lazy to explain it now, it's 1:50AM here. Every thing is in the file. If you have further questions, don't hesitate :)

By the way, I've noticed OSPF in packet tracer some times doesn't update routes for some reason, if it happens, save your work and reload the pkt file into packet tracer again.

Thanks you Solo,

Ok, I confused about the network in ospf, for example the connection between C1 and D3, ospf network is 192.168.1.4, why we didnt use 192.168.1.0?is it because 192.168.1.4 is the network address to connect to D3 int01?

Is it ok if I use different ospf ID for each switch?(you use 30 for all switches)

Thanks
