Cisco Lab Update

Article Reads:7623

Firewall.cx's Cisco Lab is a world-class project that aims to provide free educational services to the world's IT professionals, allowing them to work with expensive equipment without restrictions.

While every effort was made to create a service that would work without human intervention, there were problems discovered which withheld us from making the rest of our labs publicly available.

The most common problem is the 'password reset' issue, which unfortunately relied on how well the Cisco lab users were able to follow our guidelines.

We now would like to inform our community that we have already begun working on a new daemon that will not only resolve this issue, but introduce new 'cool' features such as equipment power-cycle, on the spot configuration reset, and many more.

These new features will enhance our Cisco Labs, ensuring a new level of experience and availability for every user.

This also means that we will be forced to take off line Cisco Lab No.1, in order to proceed with our testing and troubleshooting phase of the new daemon.

The dates which the Cisco Labs will be unavailable will be announced within the next couple of weeks.

The Firewall.cx Team.
