Solaris 9 Installation 10 years 9 months ago #36108

I have some Sunfire V120 Servers that I would like to wipe clean and reload, but I don't know enough about these machines or Solaris to know how to do it.

I have the Solaris 9 installation disc, but I'm not sure how to get the machine to boot to it. I went into lom> mode and see the bootmode command, but I'm not sure of the usage.

My options are:
Usage: bootmode [[-u] forth|reset_nvram|diag|skipdiag|normal]

Can anyone tell me if I'm on the right track and of so, what I need to do from here?

Many thanks
