Nice... I will have to have a look at the poor physics too.

Great, now I can't enjoy ANY type of movie.

There is only one movie that is very realistic regarding IT,

I came across this discussion and decided to bring it back to life after seeing another IT type movie. I decided to sit down and watch Firewall. I mean, come on this movie has to be IT right? Firewall? What more do you need to know. And then it happens, the movie lets me down. For the first 10min or so, it had something going. But movie directors always want to bring in action.

The beginning of the movie has some accurate IT things going on such as the following:
(1) Harrison Ford logs into the firewall, which I'm pretty sure was a PIX firewall and runs some commands. I need to go back frame by frame and see if they are indeed correct, just out of curiosity.
(2) They are using Wireshark as they monitor a hackers traffic activity.

Alright, so I'm probably the only one who still has hope for a good IT movie. In my opinion, there have been a few. But like I mentioned earlier, they always derail and bring in action type scenes.
