security log empty

Hi Guys i have noticed on my pc the security file is not logging anything. All the service dependencies are on and it is set to log logins. Also the stop start tabs are all grayed out which i am obviously concerned about. The service is set to start automaticatlly and it does say its started.Does anyone have any ideas as im thinking security issues although when i run scans nothing pops up.Im using XP sp2.

Is your PC standalone or in a domain? If it is in a domain then the security logging will mostly be recorded on the domain controller(s)

Hi Bishop it is a personel pc not connected to a domain or any network for that matter. Thanks.
