Nice post nske but honestly i get sick of hearing how secure openbsd is. It comes with every service turned off. Its like saying a house with no doors or windows is hard to break in.

Well that would be a point if this was the only security measure of OpenBSD, but it's not. Continuous debugging and auditing of their and other supported software's code is probably the most importand security enhancement, strong encryption is also an other one. Besides it is a good practice to minimize the number of services running by default, given the fact that many administrators don't even bother checking what is running as long as the machine does what they want.

If someone needs a service he can configure and enable it later, and that's how it should be in my opinion :)
