I am new to Linux based enviroment.

How do you install the Open VMPS 1.3 into a Linux machine? Can anyone teach me step by step?

I have read the help in sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?thread_i...&forum_id=155446

but I cant Run it. I type "service vmpsd start" but the service is unreconized.
