why i cant telnet

C:\>telnet ciscolab.no-ip.org 2002
Connecting To ciscolab.no-ip.org...Could not open connection to the host, on port 2002: Connect failed

you see i'm using computer here in our university so may be i guess
i cant use telnet here oh my reservation of this lab just wasted
ohh men i dont have my own pc at home sheeesshhh!

If you are using your machines at Uni then its more likely that they are blocking the ports that are required to telnet to.

Telnet is working ok because its coming up with "Connecting to..".
