Google Error was created by ping
I was looking up google for "powered by phpbb 2.0.15" and to my surprise , when I clicked to display the second page, all I got is this :

[code:1]We're sorry...

... but we can't process your request right now. A computer virus or spyware application is sending us automated requests, and it appears that your computer or network has been infected.[/code:1]

I don't get it, is it because I searched a "foreign" string ? I hardly doubt it is because I am taking part of a DOS attack or something similar..

anybody want to confirm this ??

Tried it too and get the same response from google. I suppose they've made this to prevent from exploiting phpbb based forums.... (just a guess)

There are many exploiting tools that query results from google, some too aggresively. Perhaps google bans whole network blocks for specific queries too aggresivelly as well. From my dial up over here I had no problem -probably because it's not through a big ISP.

Google.com/ie:

Bare-bones interface which returns only page titles.

Indeed it would make sense if the bans applied everywhere. :?
