The INTERNET is connected through 8080 port. Using this port no, i am easily browsing. How do I block an website such as " www.example.com " using iptables command? In windows environment, how do I ensure my PC's security? I look forward to hearing your suggestion.

Just to clarify your question, rhythm.

What OS does your client machine run?
Do you have a separate proxy server?
You are better off implementing "domain name blocking" in something like Squid rather than iptables.

Get back with the answers to the above questions and we should be able to help you further.

i agree with Dalight with the things you have to clarify, i have a squid and dansguardian running as my content filtering in a separate PC, so all the PCs passes through this cannot access porno and other unwanted sites. it works well ;).
