Hi, this is my first post , my english not good.
I've one question and need ur help.
I've 2 PC (both of them install XP Sp2 ), 1 Router Zyxel , 1 Sw Surecom . 2 PC connect to net throught SW, and Router. And it's ok. but problem is PC A can't ping PC B and both of them can't share file.
IP of PC A :
Physical Address: 00-02-44-8B-37-59
IP Address: 192.168.1.33
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.1.1
DHCP Server: 192.168.1.1
Lease Obtained: 11/8/2004 8:40:08 PM
Lease Expires: 11/11/2004 8:40:08 PM
DNS Server: 192.168.1.1
WINS Server:

IP of PC B :
IP Add : 192.168.1.34
Sub : 255.255.255.0
Default : 192.168.1.1
DHCP Ser : 192.168.1.1
PC can ping PC A.
I'd setup home or small office in 2 PC, but it's not run. BOth of them can't see they. What happen with my net and how to fix it ???

Ping Money : Destination unreachable
Ping Love : Unkown host name
Ping Future : Reply from hell: bytes=32 time=99 year TTL=1

I see that you have SP2 installed....
Have you tried temporarily disabling the Firewall on each PC ?

If it works this way, you may need to set up some exceptions such as File Sharing between the two machines.

yeah, i'd setup exceptions File Sharing between the two machines but it isn't run. 2 PC still can't share anything! :cry:

Can PC A ping router?
Can PC B ping router?

If they can both ping the router but one PC cannot ping another PC then the problem is more likely at the PC (IMHO). If one can't ping the router then you have comms problems between the router and the PC. If that is the case you could check that there are no router firewalls that might be preventing traffic.

If the problem is with the PCs the you could check that there are no other firewalls installed.

Let us know the results - if you can ping but still can't file share then there are some other things to look at.
