let say we have 1 www server , 1 DNS server , 1 mail server and 3 multimedia server ...ermm..which one is scalability , group them in one subnet or group them in different subnet . TQ [img]images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img]

It depends on what they're being used for I suppose.
If they are providing public services (which Im assuming they are) then they'd be best off on a DMZ from your firewall (we hope you have one of those and no a router doing packet-filtering is not a firewall no matter what anyone tells you lol) in which case the DMZ would have its own subnet

So yeah.. i haven't quite understood your question, but I think they should be on the same subnet.
