FTP via VPN

Hi all,

I have a network to which I connect to via a VPN connection from my desktop.

I have ftp running on my desktop along with IIS as well.

When I connect to a remote PC on the network (which I am connecting via the VPN), and I try to establish an FTP session to my desktop, I get a connection refused error on FTP.


This is how it would look like.

My desktop

>PC (Windows 2000)

I am logging into that Windows 2000 PC and trying to run an FTP to my desktop, and it wouldn't have it.


Any leads guys.

Just to let you all know, I have eliminated all issues regarding firewalls, ports etc. So they can't be blamed as being causing the problem anymore.

1. If not, please provide the details of VPN Device/Software & Client Software details. Try to upgrade your Version.

2. if it is client software get the latest one and import the latest saved configuration file from your Device/Software to configure Mobile VPN.

3. However it is better you provide the VPN Device/Software details, I'm sure we will sort out this problem.

Yes it is a CISCO VPN.

Is that possible for you to post the error you get when you try to do a FTP transfer?
