We are given a software protocol which had raw data which needs to hacekd and find the software protocol data frame format which has start of message , addr, data, crc, end of message,anyhelp would be highly appreciated

I dont know if i've understood your question properly, but i'll try and help -
is this a common protocol ? something that is implemented by vendors ? or is it something created by the people who gave it to you ?
What i would suggest you do is load the traffic into a protocol analyser.. try using IRIS, from this site. while its technically a network sniffer, it breaks down the protocol into parts.. and it recognises many protocols.
