VOIP clarity was created by NetIvy
Hi All,

Recently i set up 2 VOIP connection at my office using a Linksys instrument. Now the users complain in loss of clarity and delay while making calls. Inshort 4/20 calls face tis prob... I suspect the internal network to be the prob.As this VOIP Ips are NATed(which can cause delay) plus this 2 lines fall under the firewall which yet delays the IP packet flow. I do understand tat the quality of VOIP services depends greatly on the speed and quality of broad band. I was thinking wether a seperate DSL line be provided to the VOIP lines with public IPs(hence without NATin) , placin it outisde the firewall.. Do u think this can improve the voice clarity???

Any suggestions on best practices while using and installation of VOIP will be appreciated

Thnx
