hi all im new to vlans and would appreciate any help given.

my senario is i have multiple tagged vlans and one untagged vlan coming in on one connection to one port of my 3560.
what i wish to do is to split each vlan onto a separate subnet and pipe it out through another port.
this port is conneted to a server which understands these subnets.
it then passes the appropiate dhcp request back to the clients on the appropiate vlan?

how would i configure my 3560 to handle such a situation?

TIA

If i understand your question correctly, you would want to setup both ports as trunk ports(dot1q). The server would also have to support the dot1q.

no the serever understands ip only it sees an ip and nos which subnet it belongs too then replies with the appropiate dhcp lease.
the vlans come from ssids setup on awireless radio
