I accessed a locally connected PC to retrieve a file, and i was wondering why im getting only 10Mbps when im fully utilizing nearly 100% of my LAN.

are there any factors i need to consider?

hey,

keep in mind:

100mbp/s = 12,5MB/s (Bit => Byte)

so basically ur getting 10,5 / 12,5(max.) MB/s

the point why u will never be able to reach the 100% Data bandwith is just cause there is some bandwith required for protocol overhead.
