First of all welcome to the forums of firewall.cx.
We hope that you'll find answers to all your questions and we'll try to be as helpful as possible.
Now on to your question, deciding on which certification track to follow depends on the career that you want to follow.
If you could post here what your interests and career plans are will enable us to provide you with better advice....
Cheers

Hi and Welcome merrysusan0,

As The_Berzerker said, it really depends on what you want to do if you have a good idea yet.

Certifications will get your foot in the door eventually but you will work your way up from the very bottom. Certs alone does not mean you can do the job. A university degree may make you climb the ladder faster upon completion and you could do your certs at the same time. You would come out the other side in a very strong position and uni is always a lot of fun.

Really depends on what suits you.

Star.
