Microsoft outlook its east to save e-mails and such with .pst files. Outlook express is another thing. I cannot find how to move E-mails from one computer to another using outlook express. I can exprt contacts but not e-mails. I move the whole user under documents and settings. All my settings transfer But...No e-mails in my outlook express it comes with wondows so i assume its embedded. Anyone know?

From what I recall, all the emails and directory structure of the mailbox, is stored under documents and settings/$USERNAME/application data/microsoft/outlook/identities or similar. If I remember correctly, there is a directoy or file with some random string as a filename, somewhere inbetween -maybe under the identities dir-, so you must only copy the actual files containing your mail data to the other computer's appropriate directory.

Nske is correct here is an example from my computer:
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{AAD8CF85-E5E4-4546-946C-AFADE3E0A3BA}\Microsoft\Outlook Express
in there you will find all the dbx files that consist your mailbox

I too agree - NSKE and Berzerker have got it right - simply follow their instructions and you'll be fine!

Another method is you can do a search for *.dbx
it should show inbox.dbx outbox.dbx etc...
copy all these files to a CD or USB key.
if you have multiple Identities in OLE, then the method above might be better, however just copy the identities folder.
you can see where your store folder is by clicking on:
tools->options->maintenance->store folder
copy and paste that link into an address bar.

to restore them it is possible to import .dbx files however, with OLE closed, you can copy the files to the same store location. Its been my expirence that this will go much smoother if you copy them to the desktop, then to the store location. might require a reboot if it does not work right away.
