I am again here. And i will try to conseal my frustration as much as I can. Here is problem
I have installed window2000 server.
Here is the different options i have chosen.

1- Stand Alone Server
2- domain name tmd.info
3- ipadress is 200.0.0.1 mask is 255.255.255.0
dsn 127.0.0.1
later on i installed active directory
but when i want to check users or domain through administrator tools menu. An error message poped up No domain found.Possible because of network configuration.
So help in to fix this problem.

You might check your dns address 127.0.0.1 is the loopback address for your NIC card.

Do you have DNS installed on your server? If not you should install it, since AD relies on it for name resolution.

It should have asked you to set up dns when you installed AD. Just out of curiousity, why did you pick that ip address (200.0.0.1). If I am not mistaking, your computer ip address and the dns ip address should be the same.
