hey my people how u all doing? Please is there some script to edit in registry or some software i could use to auto copy a file say every Monday it will auto copy to the server.

Secondly why is it that copying a file especially over a network in windows vista is dead slow? is there also some script to edit?

1) Write a batch file to do it (you could use robocopy for example) then run it as a scheduled task in windows
2) I don't know

Aight man thanks checking it out..

if u have tried copying a file as heavy as 5gb in Linux u will be surprised at the speed it copies.. Windows arrrrrh

the backup facility in windows has a scheduled backup where u can take backup periodically in in your absence

just check in the advance backup section
