Hi guys,

I've got a question that I've been thinking a lot about and I cannot figure out a _good_ way to get it done. We're working for a client that uses POPcon to download their POP3 email which gets forwarded to their exchange server which then goes to all their Outlooks. This worked great until one of them got a blackberry. She cannot get email that is sent from within the domain as it is all internal and never does go to external SMTP. I CAN just set up Outlook to automatically forward her stuff to her blackberry, but then she would need to leave her computer on all the time so it can forward. Another way I thought of is to get exchange itself to forward it, but both of these seem to be patches and not real solutions. Does anyone know of a way to get this done smoothly and without just patching up the problem?

Thanks so much for all your help!
Thanks

Sorry not played with "Push Mail" myself. Here is a link that may help you, you need to have Exchange 2003 SP2 to get this functionality

I agree with Smurf that Push Mail should resolve your issue. The email would be 'pushed' to the blackberry without the users even checking the mail (to my understanding). I have not configured push mail as of yet; so I am of no help.

Actually "Direct Push" is Microsoft's take on Blackberry's technology and requires a Mobile device that supports the technology. (Blackberry's currently don't, but that's obviously a business decision by RIM, the makers of the Blackberry). In order to use Blackberry's technology, you will need to either install Blackberry's Server software which will work with your Exchange Server or use one of the various ISP hosted Blackberry services.
