i have 2 computers on a swich i need 1 with a 24 ip how can i set it.its just a game server computer
just plays host 4 game.

Sorry but the question doesn't make much sense. I am going to assume that you are asking how to setup the two machine with IP Addresses so that they can both communicate on the switch ?

I would just use a network range of something like

If you are doing this then all you would need to do is add an ip address and subnet mask to both the machines.


Machine A - IP Address
Machine B - IP Address
Subnet Mask for both -

Now plug both network cards into the switch and away you go (providing there are no firewalls installed on the machines blocking access).
