Hi All,

we having one server to monitor the internet traffic. All the clients internet request will goes via this server. Now days It is not monitoring Internet traffic from any of the clients. It does however monitor traffic if the Internet is accessed directly from the server.

Any idea how to confirm that is the problem in monitoring tool the traffic is not passing to it?

Thanks in advance

Not sure what monitoring tool you are using. It sounds like it has been set up to monitor the localhost of the server, possibly as a default setting or assumption when it was installed. You need to be monitoring the address of the physical network card in the server that connects to the internet

I think you need to call them and get more information. I would also try to find out what changed on the server - did someone make a change? Install some software? Apply a service pack? Have a problem which they 'fixed' and so didn't feel the need to tell you about?
