Would it be accurate to say that the bridge of multiple NIC's on Windoows xp pro is not a true bridge? A standard bridge would be a transparent bridge that only looks at MAC adresses and passes them to the correct network if necessary? Is the more proper term for the Network bridge in reality a switch in the Windows Xp pro? Also where would you place the bridge would the bride be placed on the network ? I tried using the Windows Xp bridge and i could not get two networks to comunicate.
