Hi everyone. Got what I think is an easy DNS question. Our website does not resolve correctly when we enter in ourdomain.com. It works fine if we type in www.ourdomain.com or www.ourdomain.com. We are using Windows 2003 Standard Server to run DNS. Hope this will be an easy question for someone. Thanks!

You are going to need to make another DNS entry for ourdomain.com without the "www", and have it pointed to your webserver. I hope this helps you.

hi,

probably your DNS server is running fine since it is able to resolve your site properly. my guess would be if you are running your site via IIS on your Windows 2003 you could check host headers of your configured site to have both URLs (with www and without www) to point in the same IP and port number as that of your website.
