Is there anyway I can resize my Linux partition so I can give it some space?

Not really, other than by blowing it away and recreating it larger. You may be able to use Partition magic but I have never used it on ext3 (which I am assuming is your filesystem type) filesystems. I am pretty sure Partition magic supports it but I would definitely backup everything before messing with it...
