What the hell is wrong with SendMail. According to the SMTP protocol it should be possible to send mail without the need for a domain name (Domain names being shortcuts to IP's after all...) so in theory you should be able to send an e-mail to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or something. Most normal mail servers stick to the SMTP protocol as its just logical, but not SendMail... thing is I don't even have to run it for it to effect me, some moron that clearly doesn't care/understand about network security is. Even Microsoft Exchange supports direct IP forwarding.... (* Just thought I would throw that in... *)

Hmm sounds reasonable, though I haven't read the SMTP RFC.
Either way I'm sure theres a way to make sendmail do it. I'll ask a couple of people around here.
The question is .. but why ;) ?
