Can anyone tell me how to install & configure USB modem in Linux???

You'll have lots of trouble if it's a 'Winmodem' as they offload part of their processing to the OS (Windows) and it can be a struggle to get Linux to support them. But if not it should be fairly straightforward as long as you can get the USB to work. I'm sure one of our Linux gurus will be able to help you further
