Hi all, im trying to download CentOS .iso from: http://iso.linuxquestions.org...anyone know how to make the download faster since they are large files (600+MB)? Is there any other means of downloading them? I tried setting up virtual server on my router to make download a bit faster but i dont know what inbound and outbound port numbers to use.
any responses will be appreciated. thanks in advance


Ps:I use a belkin router and connected via cable

thanks. im a bit confused on what one to download. I want to install it as a 2nd OS on my hard drive (dual boot) ..I know LiveCDs run off the cdrom drive. what about the file type: CentOS.....-i386-bin1of1.iso is that a rite one to download? thanks in advance

Yes, you download the iso file and then burn it a CD using the "Burn image" option in your CD writing software.
