Hi,can someone help me:
1-Am configuring a proxy server using debian linux.My internal card eth0 with an add of was connected to a switch in a LAN.All windows client where given an add off 192.168.5.x but they cant see the server and the server cant see the pcs on the LAN.
2-My server cant see the new network card (eth1) and cant load the driver of the card.
The administrator has disabled public write access.

Okeys, let's start by gathering some necessary information on those two things :)

Can you please post the output of the following commands?

1)[code:1]ifconfig eth0

2)[code:1]lspci -v
uname -r[/code:1]
The administrator has disabled public write access.
