Hey Guys

i want to install Copfilter into my IpCop box. The fle name is copfilter-0.81.9.tgz. I copied the file into the root directory of my ipcop box and typed in the following command to extract the file. But my command didn't work

i typed tar -xzf ipcop-copfilter-0.81.9.tar.gz then pressed enter
only to get a error message stating :

tar (child): IpCop-Copfilter-1.81.9.tar.gz: Cannot open: No such file or directory
tar (child): Error is not recoverable: exiting now
tar: Child returned status 2
tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors

Does anyone know what i can to correct ths issue.

Maybe you shouldn't have pressed the "error" button.

Could be a problem with the file download. Download the file again and check the MD5 signature (on the download page).

"No such file or directory" means the tar program could not find the file defined. Doublecheck you provide the correct name/path! Keep in mind filenames are case sensitive ;)
