When you configured the IP addresses, what subnet mask did you specify? For easiest configuration, change R2's e0/0 interface to have an IP address of 192.168.20.2 with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0. Then make sure that R1's e0/2 has the same subnet mask
Also, make sure that you're using a crossover cable to connect the two routers.
Lastly, make sure that both interfaces are in an up/up state when you run "show ip interface brief"
