Good day,

I'm about to give the CCNA exam in a couple of days and whilst searching for material to get myself more familiar with the final test, I came across the following question:

" After HostA pings HostB, which entry will be in the ARP cache of HostA to support this transmission? "

The interface address will be that of the router (default gateway) or that of the remote PC?

Pan,

If Host B is located on another network, then Host A will have its default router's MAC address in its ARP cache.

Hope this helps.
