hello all
am in cameroon
i would like to study CCNA and CCNP In India or anywhere in the asia.
also i have no previous knowledge in IT ,would like to know what i need to know before going in for the course

hi Jack.

For CCNP you need a good knowledge of CCNA. So, for CCNP you don't need prep if you are doing the CCNA, just make sure what they teach you with CCNA, you understand the things... and get as much hands-on as possible. But thats step 2 :-).

Step 1.. CCNA.

For CCNA I suggest understanding Binairy and perhaps subnetting.
For subnetting you can check the documents on this website, if you need some additional information you can post your questions on this forum.

With a good knowledge of subnetting and binairy (if you know subnetting you know binairy..) you have a nice start.

Routing protocols (OSPF, RIP, EIGRP) will be tought... you can start over here with how they work, but I think thats too much.

It all depends on the ammount of time you have to spend before taking the class.

If you want to start next week, and you have this week full-time for prep, you can get a 99,99% pass for your CCNA.
