Does the ping result in a "Time Out" message? or a "Destination Unreachable" message?

If your not sure, just copy paste the output of the ping here.

This probably means that the ADSL modem had a route for the packet and sent it, but either one one following happened:

1. The Zyxel did not receive the ping because of a problem in the link itself. Check the Rj11 link and that it's up.

2. The Zyxel received it but it did not have a route to return the reply. Check the Zyxel's routing table.

3. The Zyxel is having a firewall run on it that prevents ping.

4. Something else that I can't think off!! :P

My next question would be? Can you ping the Zyxel directly from the ADSL modem? or can you ping the ADSL modem from the Zyxel?

1. There is no problem in any link, i can access zyxel.

2. There is option called Static routing in zyxel, where we can set Ip address for packet. I ll check the routing table also.

3.There is no firewall.

Yes, I can ping ADSL modem from the Zyxel, & ping the Zyxel directly from the ADSL modem
